The tools that service providers use is one of the most important parts of their trade. Having high quality tools and using them correctly is key to providing quality service. For traditional window cleaners, the squeegee is a tool we use every day. There are all sorts of different squeegees out there, the two main categories are normal channels and wide body channels. The more popular brands of squeegees are Unger, Ettore, Pulex, Sorbo, and Moerman.

I would like to share my thoughts on my go-to squeegee. I use an Unger Ninja handle, it is one of the larger handles on the market and it is very versatile on the job. You can swiftly switch channels in and out when needed. You can lock the handle into place or loosen it so the channel swivels as you work a window. It also is the slickest looking handle on the market in my opinion for what thats worth.

The channel a window washer selects is crucial to the outcome of a windows streak free cleaning result. Different sizes and dimensions will vary due to window type and size. The channel I use (pictured above) is a custom made by Luke the Window Cleaner. I purchased them from WindowCleaner.com. These channels provide a super smooth glide on glass due to their lightweight yet sturdy construction. They were designed for large commercial window jobs, yet I have found that they are also a useful tool on residential jobs.

So there you have it! My favorite tool in my bucket, the Unger Ninja Luke the Window Cleaner combo squeegee!

Thank you for reading and if you are in the Flathead Valley of Montana, please do not hesitate to contact me for any window cleaning job you may have!
